Why I love Essential Oils

First of all, if you stumbled to this page and aren't sure what essential oils are, read Essential Oils 101 . It's nice to know what everyone is talking about, but it's also crucial to know what you are spending your money on.

Every Essential Oil enthusiast has their own reasons for getting involved with them. I'd say from what I've seen, most people like the idea of wholistic medicine - a healthy alternative to pharmaceutical drugs.  My reason is similar, with a bit of a twist. 

Needles. I am afraid of needles. I found out early on that doctors offices usually involve needles. Therefore, my instincts are to avoid the doctors. Of course I get vaccines and go if I break something or I'm deeply ill, but I really do try to heal everything on my own first. I even sliced my thumb open once and now have a weirdly shaped thumb because I chose to stay at home and forego the stitches. 

In my efforts to avoid the doctors, I knew that I needed to stay healthy to do so. I also wanted to avoid the side effects of taking over the counter medicine too much. I ended up learning about essential oils online, but couldn't give into them because the prices were so steep and I didn't understand them. That was until a friend was trying to sell them to me and gave me samples. I then believed in the benefits essential oils could give because I experienced them work first hand. I just couldn't afford to spend all that money on them or commit to doing so every month or year. I simply wanted to buy them when I needed them. 

Why I Chose Rocky Mountain Oils (RMO)

I am not here to talk about any other brands. I have friends that sell other brands and they are doing what is best for them and their families. The main difference between RMO and other main brands is the Multi Level Marketing part. MLM's are great if you want to turn it into a business. You become a member, get the products at wholesale value, build your team, and continuously make money off the sales of your team. 

Quality/Price

Like I said before, I just wasn't ready to commit to essential oils yet and didn't know enough about them to sell them. I did know that those other brands had 100% pure and authentic quality oils that worked, so I was definitely looking for that. Upon a crazy amount of research and the help of my mother, I found RMO. They too have 100% pure and authentic oils, but their oils and products were already at the wholesale price. I realized that they were't part of the MLM. They even give you the option to look up the test results from the exact batch your oil came from. Just input the number on the bottom of your bottle here and it will tell you what company tested it, when and where the oil came from, and what exactly is in the oil! *Update: RMO has recently changed their shipping policy to be free only on orders above $25. This is due to their eco-friendly shipping methods costing more, therefore, forcing an increase in shipping costs. We all know that healthy things unfortunately cost more - rolls eyes.

Sustainability 

RMO is extremely eco friendly which I love! They use all recycled materials.. even the ink (algae ink) is recyclable! They will accept empty bottles from ANY brand back to recycle!

Why am I telling you all this?

One of the greatest strengths and downfalls in my personality is needing to help people. It's great because you can know that I will always be there when you need help. The downside is that I may be there even when you don't want help. It's tough for me to hear that someone doesn't need me or worse.. they don't want me. Gasp! My heart stopped just thinking about it. 

To ease the burden on my heart that I NEED to help everyone, I'm using this blog to simply share my life and experiences with whoever wants to read it. That way I feel the sense that I'm doing what I can to offer others inspiration and if they don't want it, they don't have to read it. It's a win win! 

I refuse to promote brands or products that I can't afford or don't agree with. I'm so tired of seeing ads and not knowing if it actually works or if they just want money. I promise to be as real and authentic as possible if I ever suggest anything on here.
