My Plexus Journey

So you're interested in learning more about Plexus? I'm going to share a little bit about my story and a little bit about Plexus and how they are slowly intertwining. 

First, I avoid going to the doctors like the plague. If it's serious, sure I'll consider it. However, if there is an alternative to spending a fortune on someone to confirm the problems I already know I have and prescribe me expensive drugs that may or may not give me extreme side effects- you better believe I'm going to take it. Again, I'm not talking about something serious. Please use common sense here. 

My issues included:

• Muscle & Joint Pains
• Waking up exhausted
• Daily fatigue
• Not being regular in the bathroom
• Not having control of my emotions
• Anxiety attacks
• Depression

I didn't just wake up one day and all of these problems suddenly appeared. Slowly they added on top of each other like bricks starting to weigh me down. I thought that this was just normal for people and lived with it because it became my normal. After a while I started getting tired of dealing with some of the issues so I'd see a chiropractor, try some different supplements here and there, ran a freaking marathon, etc. All of these things only fixed SOME of my issues. 

At one point I was running every day, drinking TONS of water, taking 5 different supplements, eating a whole 30 diet, and using essential oils to deal with the pain. Did I feel great? Heck yeah I did! Was I able to keep up with that lifestyle?? Pshhhh no! I don't even want to tell you how much money I was spending on all of that either. 

Life happens. I moved across the country, dealt with my first winter, got a new job, had very little sun contact for about 6 months, then lost a job. Keeping up with my health definitely wasn't my top priority. In fact, I still have an embarrassing amount of supplements sitting in a box collecting dust. It took a pandemic and being forced to stay locked inside to get me to realize how unhealthy I had become. 

After deciding I need a routine that is actually going to work with my lifestyle now, I did research. SO MUCH RESEARCH. I'm going to spare you the details of this. What I will say is that there are A LOT of avenues you can take. I looked at product reviews and the pros/cons of different things.

I had friends posting about their "businesses" daily. These businesses that they're a part of are called MLM's (Multi Level Marketing). Now, let's talk about those. No, they're not all a "Pyramid Schemes." Those are illegal.

Second, you don't HAVE to sell anything. You can join just because the products are helping you or you can simply order samples to try (Just like getting something from a store). I mentioned a little about these in a previous post on essential oils. I decided not to purchase my essential oils from an MLM because I wasn't wanting to start a business and I just wanted the same quality of oils for cheaper prices. I was able to find that through Rocky Mountain Oils and I still purchase from them.

Naturally, I had the same thought process with my supplements. Hence the ones collecting dust. What I found though, was that I needed a team. I need consistency and accountability. Your health is something you must work on every single day. It's not just "lose 30 lbs in 3 months" and be healthy forever. 

So, back to my friends posting. I felt like they were all competing for my business- which they were. Some (who haven't spoken to me in years) even messaged me asking me to join. That was a complete turn off for me if I'm being honest. I actually never looked at the product again because of it. There was one, though. It's all I talked about. Part of me was trying to talk myself out of it because I didn't want to be involved in all that.
