New Beginnings

Hi friends!

Just like the start of every grade school class, "HI! My name is Sierra and I live in central Florida." A boring opening fact I'll admit, but a very true one that is pertinent to the rest of this blog. I’ve lived in Florida my entire life. Actually, my family has lived in Florida since at least the 1800’s. Crazy. I know. I've travelled quite a lot for someone of my age, but Florida has always been home. It's what I know and has housed countless memories for me. As exciting and rather unpredictable as my life has been here in Florida (which I will definitely share more about in the future), my time here is almost at an end. That’s right! I’m venturing off into the unknown to tackle new adventures in the great state of.. you guessed it, Indiana! ...

Ok ok. I laughed too. In fact, I’ve been laughing for the past 3 months about this. Now, I suppose you’re wondering why a Florida girl who has seen snow fall twice in her life is moving to the Northwest. Obviously it’s not to brave the negative temperatures or because I have a weird love of corn.

It’s actually because I am in love.

Us 😍
I am so in love with a man that I am going to move 1,094 miles for him- which is the exact distance between our current houses. He recently accepted an incredible job at Sweetwater Sound and we’ve been doing the long distance thing for a few months. We’re trying to enjoy the season that we’re in, but it’s time to close the gap so we can enjoy life together again. Plus, I am just so over those 2 hour Allegiant flights every month. 😒 Now, I could keep going all night because I absolutely love telling our story and I most definitely will, but that is for another blog at another time.

Anyway, I’ve said all this because I have a lot of changes coming up and a plethora of insecurities, questions, and new adventures on the way. I know that there are many of you going through huge transitions in life as well and I really want to share my experiences with you in hopes that we can learn and grow together. Please feel free to reach out to me on here any time!

Thank you so much for reading about a piece of me and I can’t wait to share Sierra’s Side with you.

Love, Sierra.
